My clients include: * health and safety representatives (or committees) * H&S/HR or managers in smaller organisations * union delegate teams * union negotiating teams * union staff Benefit from my 15+ years of experience as a PSA union organiser & educator and my postgraduate workplace Health & Safety qualification. I'm particularly skilled at building worker engagement, participation and representation to improve health and safety outcomes at work. Common issues teams like to explore: - how to educate and engage workers in the risk management cycle - the relationship between H&S and collective bargaining / industrial relations - functional support for worker representatives on Health & Safety Committees - discovering workers' honest experience of whether work is safe and healthy - identifying psychosocial hazards during tough times (what can we eliminate/control?) - the modified hierarchy of controls for psychosocial hazards: changing work not the worker - how disagreement and challenging questions genuinely help us do better in H&S - the limits of our legislation, regulations and worker compensation frameworks When booking, tell me the purpose of this session and what your team is likely to want to discuss.
