Workplace Leaders H&S Training (19 Aug)

Understand everyone's H&S responsibilities and support good practice. Help your workplace reap the benefits of worker engagement, participation and representation. We focus on the duties and obligations of employer representatives, and how to support everyone to make work healthier, safer and better. You'll collaborate with others to explore a series of questions and case studies. There's plenty of opportunity to learn from others and safety explore ideas. The content and tools shared in our leaders' workshops are compatible with what HSRs learn in their own initial training so you can have great conversations after your training. In addition, HSRs will be able to tell you a little more about their role than you covered in your course, and you'll be able to tell them a little more about elements of hazard management and H&S investigations. NOTES: * This course is the WorksafeReps "H&S for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders" course. You don't have to be a line manager: union reps or anyone interested in H&S at work is welcome. * HSRs who already hold US29315 are welcome to attend. While some of the course will serve as a refresher, you will gain additional information (e.g., investigation methods) and explore the obligations/roles of non-HSRs. * I ask for any learning or accessibility needs (in confidence) when you book.
